There is nowhere anywhere nearby to park which won't involve either parking on Jaguar land illegally, or parking in a way which will annoy locals, and we don't want to cause any trouble which would involve us not being asked back.

Are pedestrians allowed if dropped off say, half a mile away? Otherwise I'll just cycle.

If not would anyone care to share the finer points, such as what time to turn up? Email from Garlick said: Hello all Firstly, congratulations to those of you who have secured one of the 300 spaces available for our Aston Martin Sunday Service! It was one of the fastest-filling events we have ever hosted. If you have a number between 1 and 300 next to your name you are guaranteed a space and we’ll see you there If you have a number from 301 and above you are on the reserve list and DO NOT have a space at this time. As people drop out of the main list you will move up accordingly, but until you are within the initial 300 you will not be granted entry on the day. With that in mind can we ask that all on the list remove themselves as soon as possible if they can no longer attend on the day? With an event as popular as this, it’s only fair that spaces are released if they will go unused. To clarify/ additional notes: Please see the attached map for directions. Gates open at 09.00 and we’ll ask you to (politely) leave by 13.00. On the gate we’ll be checking your PistonHeads username against the calendar list – only those numbered between 1-300 are guaranteed a space If you are no longer attending this meet, please take your name off the calendar to allow a reserve list member to move into the space If you are on the reserve list we will not allow entry on the gate. Please check your position before you leave home Drive sensibly in and around the venue, we are guests of our hosts and the better behaved we are the more chance we have of being invited back We’ll see you at the gate in September and thanks for helping to make these events so successful! Cheers Paul Paul Garlick PistonHeads.com

Whoop worked my way up from 311 to 293 so far first PH meet, but think its the OH who's more excited about the meet! Not got an email for this yet (didn't help having the wrong email address attached to my account on here, sorted now) but seen the copy of the email above, just a question, the map attached, is it just a map of the gaydon area? or does it give specific instructions about which gate to use, postcode etc?

Gutted. In top 300 but most likely won't be able to make it. Will be able to confirm Friday and if still the case will remove my name.

there looks to have been a big sweep out in the last 24 hours, not big enough though! Have all top 300 been contacted and asked to confirm definitely going yet or are you still working through (as I am close enough for it to be possible but not close enough to not consider making other plans!)

Yes, we've emailed everyone and asked them to consider carefully (and honestly!) if they are able to make it. A lot of spaces have been free up as a result, and another email will go out both tomorrow and Saturday morning.

Stuart:
Why not e-mail everyone on the list asking that if they have a spare seat and don't mind helping out to pop a thread up in the relevent regional section, thus enabling people to find out who's close to them and available for chauffeuring

I was at 577 yesterday, still no chance through I guess! How odd. No, we haven't pruned anyone off the list. We don't actually have the ability to do that. At least I don't. To be honest though, at 577 the chances of you making it in are slim to non existent at this stage. Sorry.
