They did, yes. I got a new set of wheels from one of the guys who used to work there.
Mine looks a bit funny on them because I want the ride height and the compliance of the standard dampers and springs to deal with all the compressions and bumps on our roads. If I was tracking the car I’d put coilovers on, but I’m not, so I’m keeping the stock in terms of suspension.

I was speaking to one of the engineers at Monster Sport in Japan, who said the stock suspension is more than capable of handling twisty roads, and that it was very common among ‘car enthusiasts’ (his words…not mine…) to underestimate the performance of the standard setup. The only thing he suggested was very slight toe IN, to deal with the broadest spectrum of roads, but not to mess about too much with it and keep it as it was designed by Suzuki.
He only recommended going to coilovers to get particular setups for specific tracks.

Do you have any photos of what it looks like with the 15s on but standard suspension? I presume they have more sidewall than the 17s so should give more comfort too?Mine looks a bit funny on them because I want the ride height and the compliance of the standard dampers and springs to deal with all the compressions and bumps on our roads. Elmoslides - that’s interesting, I’ve seen some nice Monster bits but the exchange rate makes it a no go. Did the guy advise if that was toe in to front and rear or just rear?
That was just toe in on the front. A garage near me that also sets up race cars also suggested the same thing. The only Monster Sport item I’ve got is a gear knob, but it definitely makes gear changes nicer…
I’ll have to find some pics of mine on its 15s

The first thing I noticed after putting on the 15’s and just driving off was that the ride was noticeably better.
The only thing is the final drive ratio is effectively lowered, so the top speed is reduced. Cruising at 65mph is now at about 3000rpm, but that also gives about 45mpg over a full tank.
When you aren’t cruising in it, you don’t care about any of that though. You’ve just got a sharper handling, more nippy car…

Looks good on the 15s, would those that use it say it makes the ride slightly more plush? I remember on the 31s with the 17s it used to be incredibly stuff.
A standard 32 on 205/45/17 isn’t far off plush. It’s a genuinely decent ride. If I was changing size I’d go for 16 as the 15 look funny and must affect the speedo quite a lot.A standard 32 on 205/45/17 isn’t far off plush. It’s a genuinely decent ride. Yeah, it does look a bit funny and the speedo does over read. If it was my daily car I’d probably have gone for 16 inch wheels, but because it’s my weekend fun car I don’t really mind how it looks. I figured there was a reason why R4R went for that wheel/tyre combo and that it probably meant more fun.
The wheels are 3kg lighter than the standard 17s, and the tyres must be over a kilo lighter at least. I did see a set of Buddy Club ones which were well under 5kg per wheel, but they were silly money.

The R4R rims are Cosmis R1. I’ve looked for these for years but have never found any for sale in 15”, new or used. I know the Integra DC2, wheels are popular but they need spigot rings to fit and have no idea which ones to get. 15” does limit tyre options. Semi-slicks, no problem, road is more limited. I tend to use a 205/15/17, Goodyear Assy 5 or 6. That works well on the road and on cold, wet, winter track days.

If you’re still looking for a set I can ask the guy I got them from and see if he can still source them.PJ_Parsons said:

I've got 2 sets. if you really want a set I can get some only in white though but not cheap and then you've import costs from Germany on top.Integra wheels are probably a cheaper option or japan racing when on offer.

The backlight for the rev counter is literally on the blink (intermittently on) and is about to go. Anyone know if it's going to be an easy fix?
The only fix is belowhttps://www.ecutesting.com/product-catalogue/suzuk...
