Contender for the worst garage on Pistonheads, potentially.

That said, there's something reassuring knowing it's now parked on my property rather than (as with a couple of my previous "toys") parked in a damp, powerless council garage across town.
Garage no matter what state is better than no garage that one is keeping your MX-5 nice and snug thumbup. I similarly managed to squeeze the Skyline into my 60's built single-skin garage but I can't fit the Crown in which annoys me no end and I keep nervously checking the underside (fortunately nothing yet and the original underseal is still holding).

Wow. Snug fit. Looks like the garage door frame is distorted to fit the contour of the rear bumper. biggrin

Very jealous! Scooby is my joint dream car (with an Escort Mexico). Sadly I don't think either will ever happen now, so will have to make do with the MR2 and Celica.

Thanks for the kind comments
I daily my scoobie and for me it wins on sound. I constantly change my mind about which one I prefer the look of, think the evo is better from side, scoobie the front and rear.

Evo is the better performance drive, both are built, the scoobie is 505bhp but is very dailyable
The evo is pure obscene power, 678bhp at only 1.4 bar, it's got a stupidly heavy clutch, and is a challenging drive, no air con and you stink of petrol, but what a weapon

You are more than welcome, I always appreciate a good motor and I am happy to see you are very hands on with the upgrades and performance. I expected that the Subaru sound would sway you over the Mitsubishi. As for the looks, there are so many body kit options for you, the possibilities are endless. You certainly can stop spending on power now, you got that covered biglaugh I reckon your Mitsubishi would be the rarer car, they imported much less I think. We need to love our Mitsubishi's now that the manufacturer doesn't!

When people ask me about my Galant's engine I just go quiet. It looks like a VR4 but I'm just packing a 2.4 GDI lol. Even the ATF cooler looks like an intercooler through the grille hehe 4G64 is extremely similar to the one in your EVO. Those older cast iron block and alu head motors seem to keep all the explosions where they need to be very reliably!

I have never experienced AYC at all in my life and I must at some point!

FN looks lovely in white, just make sure you look after the underside, and get that timber garage coated as well! thumbup

Underside will be done in summer. Garage is coming down rebuilt in brick. That whole area is a muddy mess at the moment. Not ideal to clean the car.

Japanese Wagon you say?

Not sure what it's for as such, but I couldn't resist. I'm sure I'll find a use for it.

It's indeed a Mark II. Last of them, JZX110.

Of course, when you phone up to sort things like insurance you say "Toyota Mark 2" and inevitably get "MK2 what?"

wink

Very nice, is that 062 pearl white? As my Crown is an auto I have a snow mode for the gearbox - not sure what it does with 311bhp available through the rears laugh

I'll have to check the plate. For now, we'll call it 'expensive to paint white'

I have a manual gear surround for mine (totally different shape to the auto) yet it, for some reason, has the ECT button on it. I can only think there are a couple of different auto selector designs and one happens to match them manual in dimensions.

I know, traditionally, snow mode on an auto starts you off in 2nd to reduce the chance of wheel spin. However, having been out in the cold and damp, I think it might just be wired to just cut the ignition if there's snow on the ground wink

Definitely one of the coolest entries. I want one. Or an FJ40

This took me a while to find in Japan. A 2016 car with 38k miles. It has the rear difflock and crawl mode. Very happy so far.
