You'll be fine mate. My right arm is now a mega-bionic-motherf ker -of a w king arm. It sorts the wife out no probs. Must be something to do with Ti.

Evening all. So, back on the ward after my op. Surgeon reckons it spot on so we'll see.
High as a kite right now which is nice but bored. Bloody hate hospitals. Full of sick people and drama queens.
So.now Im part man, parts mouse part titanium and sticky backed plastic.

Morning all
Thanks for the good wishes. Feeling a bit more with it this morning so thought id check in with the Pethadin out of my system.
So it looks like Im part bionic now with a load of Ti plates and screws holding my left wrist together. Bandaged up to high heavens so no sight of the cut.
Friends brought my leathers boots and lid by this morning and all i can say is thank you Mr. Dianese.
Leathers are badly fooked with the left side worst of all, boots are in a bad way and Arai RX7 has an impressive smack above the right eyebrow.
And me? Sore and achey but only a broken wrist. No road rash nada. Left ankle is sore but all i all a great result I'd say.
So the moral of this?
Forget brand preference. get the very best gear and lids you can. Buy crap and you may not get the opportunity to buy again.

So, queue the mother of all highsides quickly followed by a broken left wrist.
Hey ho. sorry to hear that not much chance even when your covering the clutch at those speeds unless your lucky , i caught my at phillip island at about 240 i pulled the clutch instantly and there was still a black line for about 100 meters from where the back wheel locked saved it some how :-}} heal quick
