UK Harleys have it - you just carry a fob. optional pager if you want it
walk away from the bike more than a few feet and it arms itself....I find it very convenient, im sure more manufacturers will do it eventually

This often happens when hubby drives to station with wifey as passenger then hubby catches train to work and wifey drives on to work/shops/friend's/lover's. Particularly embarrassing in the latter case. That's not a problem of the system. That's a problem of the user.
