Manufacturers fault I would guess, not that B/stone would ever admit it. There was a few that did this, and Stoners was similar at Silverstone I believe. That is absolutely shocking and no doubt dangerous Not so fast. Admission from B'Stone http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/100840

I honestly thought Rossi was pulling a fast one and his head had gone, I'm a Rossi fan as well.

As race watching goes, the MotoGP race was pretty pathetic compared to Moto2 and a gripping Moto3. I still want MotoGP to be high-end technology though.

I don't, i'd love the racing to be like world superbikes. Get rid of most the tech bits but leave enough that it's still a rung above world super bikes.

WSB is as technically advanced as MGP, it's about how they're ridden and how the bikes have to be ridden that marginalise the chances of great racing. Add in the manufacturers strangle hold on the number of bikes and the cost being a barrier to entry to new manufacturers and you have the current private playground for Yamaha, Honda and Ducati. If we actually had stable rules for more than 4yrs and last years bikes are handed down and allow them to get closer etc etc the racing will stay the same, apart from.odd exceptions.

hostyle said: Just a heads up for anyone going to Assen, as of today, the Dutch police are more actively controlling traffic. They're extra patrolling the ports and all roads leading to Assen. They're watching for speeders, alcohol abuse and general hooning. Don't get caught! On the sunday morning the police had roadblocks set up on the roads leading back to the motorway from the circuit and were stopping people at random for breath tests. Seemed to be lots of people failing and been taken to the police station
