Hi guys thanks for the reply but cant post a link as I cant find the original post, the ramp was a type that when you drove onto it looks as if there is a balancing point that makes the back of the car easy to lift to a horizontal position and then that was supported from floor to ramp at the drive on point to maintain the horizontal, maybe this makes no sense, someone must know what I mean,,,

If you get the Restoration Ramps Kenny do yourself a favour and attach a rope to the ramps and lay it out so you drive on it then up the ramps. It will stop the car pushing the ramps away from you as you try to drive up.

These look good, I could do with something similar.

I'm struggling to work out where to keep them when not in use though, I suspect they are pretty heavy so you don't want to move them very far?

Put planks either side of them to drive onto and raise the car a bit and park over it.

Simples, I am fortunate that storage space is not a problem, there is about 6 weeks waiting for the ramps because of the amount of orders they have but hey ho,,,
