Good day to you all,
I jumped into my 500 the other day only to spot a spanner symbol on the speedo and a message saying 'Service Stamp Expired'. Ok so at first glance you might think it just needs a service however, it was serviced only 9000 miles/10 months ago. So by my reckoning it isnt due a service for a while yet. Is this because the last person to service it didnt reset something within the car? Or is it something else?
Any knowledge appreciated.

Have you checked the service counter in the menu system? If the mileage has hit zero, chances are it won't have been reset. Interval is 18k/1yr. If you don't know how to access this, it's the button on the right hand side of the speedo pod. Press that, scroll down to "service" and press the menu button in again.

Cheers, just went and checked it and it is at zero. I guess theres no way for me to change it but i may as well give it a service soon anyway. Thank you!

The service schedule on the Fiat 500 is 2 years or 18,000 miles. However, if you do 6,000 miles a year or less then you will need to do an oil service annually.

It seems that even Fiat themselves don't know the service interval. The service interval I quoted was given to me by an employee at Fiat UK.
