Evo8MR JR said: Ive turned mine to low, and changed the resolution down a bit and averaging 50 now. Feels like the game is super responsive now. I dont really miss the details either, but time to invest in a new graphics card. My HD 4850 is getting on for 4 and 1/2 years old now. When I specced my dell 4 years ago, I went for the best I could afford. It's still decent by todays specs. Intel i7 8 GB ram 600 gb hard drive. 24inch widescreen monitor. A 4850 on what is probably a 1080p monitor? I'm surprised it runs at all! new graphics card, STAT! Even a 5850/460GTX 1GB at around £60 would be an improvement, but ideally you'd be looking at a GTX 560Ti to get decent frame rates. I have the GTX 460 1GB with a mild overclock and get 45-55FPS at High preset using a 1680x1050 monitor. I have a GTX670 planned in the next few months though.

Had a rather annoying game this morning. I am trying to learn to fly jets and was doing well evading some fire until this idiot kept plowing into me. Time and time again, I gave up and went on the ground and killed him with a RPG.
I may have gone on a text assault after that, but he deserved it.

I'm erring on the side of a 560ti now. My reasoning is that I want to do a custom build all singing and dancing later in the year and my current mobo and processor will bottleneck anything more powerfull, but I'm currently running a GTS 250 and its woefull.

Been out all day & fancied some killin' but no such luck. Have read somewhere that when it does come back up there's a 2.38GB 'patch' accompanying it.

I'm currently making my way through max Payne 3 at 1920 x 1080 with a mix of med and high settings just fine. Would like to get in on some dx11 action but would I really see a difference image wise?

They're good cards for buying on a budget, I've got the 2GB Frozr 560ti, which rarely gets lower than 50fps on a mix of high/ultra.

Shows what an utter t t I am. Walked into my local trusted dealer looking for a 560ti, of which he had loads on the shelf last week. They've all gone - he's a busy chap - so I thought that maybe a 580 could be on the cards... Waked out with a Galaxy 680... t t!

bf3 premium or ea's answer to COD. Do they really think I'm that daft??? £39.99 for the game and 4 expansions of which I own the game and 1 expansion. Oooh but you get the choice to reset your stats..... I know what your going to say "If you don't like it don't buy it" but it 's insulting that they think I'm stupid enough to buy it. So what they think I'm as dumb as an xbox user????? C U N T S

So what they think I'm as dumb as an xbox user????? C U N T S You know you actually save money buying the premium pack, as opposed to individually buying the unreleased DLC's? Plus you get free stuff, and early access.. Anyone having issues with Battlelog since the update? I can't seem to click on any of the server options.

So what they think I'm as dumb as an xbox user????? C U N T S Guess I must be stupid then. I am happy to pay for the premium pack, it seems worth it to me just for the new assignments and the upcoming dlc. I have had more than my money worth out of the game so far and will be happy if the upcoming dlc keeps me amused till early next year.

I just bought it but I still feel I'm being shafted unless I'm understanding it wrong. Just to clarify; If I'm a new customer to BF3 and buy premium I get BF3, plus all the expansion packs, plus the extras, plus early access for £40? Is that right? Yet If I already paid £30-£35 for BF3 + Karkand I have the choice of buying the DLC seperately at about £11 each or Premium for £40, paying a total of £75?
