Oh, and I'll be wearing a bright green Pistonheads T-shirt if anyone wants to say hello. Im staying at the B&B run by the pub, so if I see you expect a knackered looking person in a black suit and pink stripey shirt! If I do see you I'll be sure to pop over and say hi!

Great day, really enjoyed it and getting to meet Synchromesh too. Not sure what everyone else went in, but chuffed to have gone in my first BMW M car (E46 M3) and first Lotus (Elan) and learn some new skills (made the country lanes on my way home a lot more fun! )

Sounds like you were with Jon in the afternoon - how was that? Inspired to take advanced driving further? As I said earlier, IAM or Rospa (Roadar) would be good starting points. See if there are any groups local to you and get in touch with them.

Most certainly is, will be recommended to petrolhead friends too I'll be investigating more about all of this tomorrow as I'm cream crackered tonight

Who owns the S60R btw? Was parked in the rear car park most of the day, I saw another grey e38 round there as well. Had a great day!

The S60R was on the event - I went out in it during the afternoon session.

Hope that doesn't say too much about my observation skills StressedDave said: The S60R was on the event - I went out in it during the afternoon session. Yes, was interested in chatting to it's owner, being an S60 driver myself, but never found out who it was...

Hello chaps.
I was the guy with the S60R. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Liked your teaching style StressedDave, was great fun. I did notice the T5 S60 in the car park.

Everything in this thread suggests that we drove together on Saturday morning!
It is amazing how much fun you can have in a 54bhp Micra on the public roads when focused on the driving - agreed? As we discussed, it was potentially the most suitable car for the purposes.
Great to meet you. Keep up the energy and enthusiasm for improving your driving to become the best you can be.

Don't worry, the enthusiasm will never go! Going to get myself onto some of these advanced driving forums too, and see what I can do about a rospa/ advanced driving course whilst saving up for HPC driving. I've got dad thinking about it too, he's very interested

I did my IAM when I was 18, I would personally reccomend doing that first.
I think I'm going to book a morning with Andy. I did my morning drive with Clive and got some positive feedback regarding my likeliness of completing in the 2 days.
Just need to save some pennies and go for it.
Nice to meet those of you that I did, whoever that may have been!

Do any of you attendees fancy putting together a couple of paragraphs about the day?
I'd be interested to know about the format of the day, what you got out of it, and if you found anything surprising or unexpected about it.
