Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had any information I could use.
Topic one being the cup in general and how much it is costing teams etc.?
The other being if using a 3 door golf would be more beneficial than using a 5 door?
The reason I ask is because myself and a few mate really want to get into this cup and have been offered a golf for £600 but its a 5 door and don't know whether this is a good idea as all the pictures of the cup have 3 doors in them.
Would this be due to 3 doors weighing less than 5 doors and having more strength in the chassis from standard?
Thank-you in advance.
Rob

We compete in this as a team. I dont think it makes alot of difference wether you run 3 or 5 door, the 3 door cars are getting rarer in the form of cheap donors and so people have started building 5 door cars. There is a min wieght which most cars need ballast to meet so thats not an issue. Best bet is to contact the organisers thru the website www.productiongti.com
