Evening All,

I'm looking for a fairly quick favour, I've got a press release that I'd quite like translating into Russian by tomorrow morning, it's not long (barely a page of A4) and I really don't fancy using Google translate! I can come across as an idiot on my own, I certainly don't need their help! wink

Any assistance would be mahussively appreciated.

I'm so sorry Ben. My fault. I thought it was from Russian to English and not the other way round. Completely misread your post. Sorry. As she's obviously English there is no way she would know whether it's totally correct or not!

Apologies again

Cor blimey...She's going to give it a go. If you find that no papers will print it and Putin is on the phone, you'll know the reason why!

Bet's on the OP reading something out to a crowd and getting either

A) lynched
B) laughed at
C) stone cold looks and shaking of heads

hehe

Seriously good luck. I'd hate to be in your shoes.

Fair play to your daughter. Very kind.

My girlfriend speaks a number of languages. I rely on her. I just nod and smile and act like I have a clue. laugh

I'm going to assume (this is the Internet, after all) you're trying to show off, in which case it would be only fair to point out your usage of 'sie' would imply you're asking everyone if they're German, as addressing a particular person would require using a capital letter in 'Sie'.
