Folks Is there a definative website that I can go to that gives the current position on the passability of the French roads through the Cols? I am hoping that they are clear by late July but best to check... ta Graham

Dont know of any passes that are closed at the moment!

Janosh said: Dont know of any passes that are closed at the moment! Iseran was closed last week due to a rock slide but it would be a freak if any got closed due to snow at this time of year! Bison Fute is a great site but doesn't update quickly enough, I found the best thing to do is call the tourist office of the closest town to the pass Val D'Isere for Iseran, Bourg St Maurice for Pt St Bernard, Jausier for Bonette etc but only if it looks 50/50 as it does late May early June!

As luck would have it, driving through Martigny yesterday I noticed that the Grand St Bernard has been closed this weekend... Sorry
