There no excuse for cars looking pants, really. IMO some of the Kia and Hyundai crossover / SUV things look pots better than the equivalent sized Audis.
Biggest surprise out there is the new Prius - a few years ago they’d have been mistaken for a super car.

They do have a family hatch
MG4 is a decent stab at a cheap EV but it’s in reality just a very average car.

My wife’s got one as a medium term rental. We had no say in the spec whatsoever and I joked that they’d issue an orange one.
And behold! It was orange. Very very orange. It is one of the most orange things I’ve ever seen. If dyno rod did orange.
One thing I will say is it’s a good road safety feature, people notice you alright!
It’s decent enough to drive, typical ev with instant power and good off the line pace. 1650kgs ish and 200bhp so brisk in town but lacks overtaking oomph at higher speeds as expected. Average of 3.6m/kw over 3000 miles so far. Range is about 220 miles I think, we rarely charge anywhere other than home as it tends to do short trips.
It feels quite pointy at the front end but rarely feels rear drive, apparently you can disable tc but I’ve not tried that.
Ride is decent round town, soaking up speed bumps and most pot holes.
Interior is ok - I’m used to 90s and 00s Japanese hard plastics so I’m easily pleased - but it’s at least a match for 69 plate smax we had before and nothing has broken or gone wrong.
Tech works ok especially 360 camera which is just as well as visibility out the back isn’t great.
One thing that’s odd is that you never really turn it on or off, when you finished your journey and slap the big P for park button, it applies the handbrake and then you get out (and lock it). Its really convenient.
I must admit I really enjoy driving it and at 30k it’s great vfm. EVs work so well for suburban family life. But I’m also still very tempted to get an XFR or Monaro/VXR8 for long trips ie Cornwall, Scotland, euro trips, and it a good excuse to scratch the V8 itch.

Its got some software niggles but to drive, it's brilliant.

Nothing more. I'd say some of the additions on it look cheap and will date badly. The rear spoiler, the fake vents on the front bumper. On the plus, it probably won't last long enough to be dated.
The Prius which someone else mentioned (just looked it up) looks great! And has more "Lamborghini" influence than that MG.
I definitely see a bit of Huracan in the design.
