Sums it up completely

Just got an email from Lotus about their new London Lotus Experience opening that rather sums up the hapless ineptitude of the company.

It starts (sic):

"DEAR ##FIRSTNAME##

1. LASTNAME##,

Lotus is in a new era."

That kind of sums up the utter ineptitude of the company, words fail me.

Then it goes on the say:

"We are on a transformative journey from an iconic British sports car company to a global luxury lifestyle brand."

That does it for me. I have no interest at all in participating in that journey, it's just a load of old bks.

And further, having retained exactly the old Lotus attributes of a bunch of bumbling amateurs who have cleverness in making sports cars, they have no hope whatsoever of reaching their destination.

Maybe if the people in head office in China are any good, they might make a go of it from there (whatever being a global luxury lifestyle brand actually is). But the UK lot are just looking like an embarrassment.
