New to me Infiniti q30 1.5d Business Executive model. I like the way it looks and don't see many around. Not sure if you can class this as Japanese as it has Mercedes underpinnings and a renault engine! The 1.5 is nice and smooth and the car itself feels very composed and premium, great level of toys and interior finish. There isn't a great online community or active forums, but was wondering if anyone on here has/had one and if they have any experience of remapping or fitting a tdi-tuning box to this engine. Can the clutch etc handle the increase? I didn't buy it for speed, but coming from a MK1 TT 225, it is noticeably slower, and a much different driving experience.

They are lovely looking cars ,shame they didn’t really catch on but price wise they are a bargain with proven mechanicals.

The kind of car I would go for because it’s not a Golf.

Yeah, that's why i went for it. The clutch went on the TT and wasn't economical to repair, so decided I wanted a premium hatch, and for the money, couldn't find anything else that floated my boat. Internally, it feels really special. All leather and alcantara with all the gadgets you could need. I did love my Audi, but couldn't be more different in terms of driving experience and internal comfort.
