Can anyone recommend me a scanner before I buy a Topdon AD600S for £108?

I'm getting a few codes on my Hyundai IX35 that don't store (more than likely ABS) and also have a Vauxhall Corsa.
Im worried the reviews online are overly biased as Youtubers seem to be given these for free.

Dont mind an app and dongle....

Help I have confused myself looking now!

I have a multi-brand icarSoft which is excellent but out of budget.

A friend has a Carly scanner which seems to see him well for the little collection of car's he seems to have acquired. It seems to be particularly good with VAG products as it lets you turn on/off certain features like mirror folding, acoustic lock confirmation etc.

Happy scanning!

Cheers,

Chris

I've got a Topdon 500 and it's very good, diagnosed and reset ABS fault that a couple of other app and dongle combos I had wouldn't pick up, I don't know if those app/dongles go that deep or there are better ones about.

With the TD you get free updates for life as well which other similar brands don't offer.

Can diagnose 100's of car models as well so will come in handy if you have multiple cars.

Would recommend.
