Looking for some luggage recommendations?
Travelling to Italy by plane then doing 6 locations in 10 days by train.
Last time we did something similar it killed the pull along suitcase we used, they seem fine across super smooth airport floors but not so great across Italian streets. paperbag
Needs to carry about 15kg of stuff.
I’m tempted with a big rucksack but MrsRace isn’t keen. scratchchin

Dakine roller - I've dragged them all over the place. As a result, I've not bought one in a while, but hope the quality is still as good.

I have a North Face branded two-wheel roller that seems similar to the above.

It works well enough on pavement and much more stable than the four wheelers everyone else seems to have that topple over on smooth airport flooring.

Mine is 90 litres I think, and fits in the overhead luggage shelf on trains etc.

15kg mentioned by the OP seems small enough to fit in a 'duffel bag' that gives you options for ones that have both rucksack straps and single shoulder straps so you don't look like a gap year backpacker.

I'll never buy anything but North Face again. Amazingly strong - my son used to sit on my carry on case whizzing around airports until quite an old age (6??) putting a lot of stress on the handle - never failed. The pockets and safe storage areas are also well designed. I got my various ones from Blacks who were cheaper than the actual North Face store 2 minutes away.

Several colours available.

Look up packing cubes too, if you don't already have them - superb idea for living out of a suitcase.
