Does anyone know where i can buy a mobile aircon duct, with a 15.5cm diameter, that's semi rigid?
Maybe i'm not using the correct term, but it's the type of duct that can be extended and hold it's own shape, rather than just flop about.

The original one that came with the Meaco unit is torn in so many places, i cannot repair it anymore and because my aircon unit is old, they no longer stock spares.

Alternative ducts do have the correct diameter, but they cannot support themselves in the same way and seem to be made of paper thin PVC which tears easily.

Clarke units call it the exhaust duct, manual has parts list on it, only 150mm though-close enough to fit?
Machine mart stock Clarke, don’t know about getting spares through them though

I think that 15cm is just a bit too small.
In that there won't be a flush fitting and the warm air could escape back into the room. I could always gaffer tape it up i suppose, but then that would look terrible.

With ducting, worth checking whether it's internal or external diameter that people are talking about (it's generally internal on specs, which gets confusing when drilling holes).

Loads on here that you might be able to compare with what you've got:

They make a bold claim that they are the UK's leading supplier. I will give them a call tomorrow to see if they can help.
Thanks

I am a very happy customer of ducting-online.co.uk, they have various flexi and re-inforced pipes on their website.

Had a very nice phone call 5 minutes after I placed my order as I had included some fittings that were the wrong size, so they dont just blindly pack, they do check. (They were the right size, but I really should not have used that size fitting, thats another story)
