Body Panels for Sylva Phoenix?
Discussion
where could i get body panels for a 1990-1992 Phoenix?
in particular the front (bonnet): the one with the valance and 7inch headlamps "also called downforce bonnet" and a similar one, without valance, also 7inch headlamps, the "old school"-style one.

The Phoenix project is owned by Rainbird Racing (a division of roll cage specialist Caged Manufaturing Ltd www.therollcagepeople.com or .co.uk?).
They took it on from Ian Grey when he sold the project a couple of years ago.
The business is run by Phil Squance who can be contacted at Caged on 01373 452866.
He is definately the right person to sort out replacement panels for you.
Neil.

Not my place to say too much but as we use Caged as suppliers for the Murtaya roll structures I know Phil very well.
He has been working hard on the Phoenix project over the last year ahead of a big relaunch but does not want anything released before it is 100% developed and ready to sell.
Best advice I can give is get in touch - everything will be available for existing cars for those needing replacement panels etc.
There was no link to between Rainbird and Cyana so websites both being down is coincidence and nothing more. Cyana (I believe) was a development of the Fury rather than the Phoenix (although I am happy to be corrected if wrong!).
Anyhow previously listed contact number and website for Caged is correct and either will get hold of Phil who will be able to help with whatever you need.

to be sure: also for the other bonnet wih the front valance (not the one in the picture)?
I was told some time ago by Jeremy Philips that the moulds for the 'downforce' front had been effectively wrecked when the project spent some time with Chris Appleby, since he had cut all the returns off them. You will probably find that this front end is no longer available, therefore. But, as usual, you'd be better contacting the companies involved rather than asking on internet forums, if you want a definitive answer.
Hi
The later round tubed chassis with the later bodywork was sold to Phil / Rainbird. The earlier body desighn with the chassis that used the Mazda running gear was sold to Cyana. Who now also do a fully round tubed desighn chassis.
Cheers Matt

I've been getting parts for my STM Phoenix with round tube, full rollcage, from Phil at Rainbird.
The only problem is communication (or lack of it), theres times when ive phoned 3-4 times a day, everyday before any response.
They don't reply to messages or emails.
I did eventually recieve parts but it was hard work!
You just have to be patient and persistent.
