I hated the damn thing at first, but if you adjust your shooting style and slow down a little bit then it's fantastic. I'll give that a go. Is it one-shot first by default and does it always start with the last selection when you get killed and respawn? Guns do now keep the setting you had predeath, not sure about the 94. To see what mode is selected, there's a set of little symbols next to the ammo figures, top is full auto, middle is burst, bottom is single shot.

There should be little white dots on the corner display near your health bar: 3 dots are full auto, 2 semi, 1 single shot.

The AN-94 in reality has an insanely complex gas driven delayed recoil system, which almost completely negates the recoil for each burst - as mentioned, forget about using auto, you're better to stick with the default two round burst. There's a bit of a learning curve to get familiarised, but it's unstoppable at medium to long range once you get the hang of it.

I do if I have the Heavy Barrel equipped and am shooting at distant/stationary targets (usually snipers and with the G3A3). Since the DLC patch it's pointless with the low recoil rifles though - especially if you've got a suppressor fitted.

Can you shoot passengers through the windows of the Humvee/Govnik with small arms?
I've seen people run up to them and fire in through the windows, but whenever I've tried it, I don't get any hit markers.
If it's possible, what weapons does it work with (pistols? shotguns? carbines?)?

I got accused of not being a team player last night. Guy says, "why aren't the scottish team playing?" My response of "listen ya bawbag, im above you flying their borrowed helicopter shooting the tanks that are trying to kill you" Didn't have the effect i wanted.  I LOVE the spaz shotgun on bazaar though. Such a good weapon now i have unlocked a few attachments for it.

I got pretty frustrated yesterday up next to a humvee with no driver in just someone sat in the back on the gun. I tried shooting with a pistol and rifle and no death for the occupant and I got leathered by the 50cal (?) as I ran off. I think you can shoot the driver of the Vodnik though as I'm sure I ahve been done like that. Is anyone likely to be on the xbox PH server tonight? I should be on for a couple of hours this evening, 6-8ish I think. I'll try and join in with anybody on the PH server after as I've not had a good run of it recently, having to finish games early just as people are arriving due to the missus ear aching me. Bought the premium pack the other day. Really enjoying gun master. Also really enjoying the F2000. Managed to hammer Rush last night and unlock the PP-19(?). Seems a fun little gun.

I weakened and bought the Premium aswell and I actually think it's worth it. The Camos are a bit meh and early access to DLC isn't a game maker for me. But I love the assignments and Gun Master is quite fun. Not sure what the point of Double XP is though, nothing above 45? Anyone on the 360 fancy some Squad Death match tonight? I really need to win a few for a assignment but joining randoms makes it impossible against a well organised squad. JimmyB206 is my gamer tag.

Not sure about the new assignments - I think a lot of people won't bother with them. I'm a bit OCD about unlocking all the achievements and even I think they're a bit of a stretch:
100 kills with the L96, including a 350m headshot?
50 MAV team spot assists?
25 AT Mine kills?
25 aircraft kills with a rocket launcher (note: not vehicle destroys, kills)?
Even getting 25 claymore kills now is difficult since they nerfed/bugged the claymores.
Seems a bit repetitive too, using the same weapons as the dogtag assignments.
The final assignment also needs around 1,200 kills spread across the classes!

I hadn't actually looked at them but they sound a bit repetitive, I quite like the ones where you have to get say 10 kills with a gun I don't use. Aircraft kills will happen eventually I guess...

Aircraft kills will happen eventually I guess... 25 aircraft kills with AT rocket launchers will take me for ever - if there's a lot of air traffic then I take a SAM, not a rocket launcher! It's only the scout helicopters that are even a one-shot-kill with the rocket launchers too, isn't it? 100 kills with the L96 on top of the 50 for the last assignment is going to be dull too, I've already got the 350m headshot (which I had to go well out of my way for as there aren't many maps/places where it's possible), but it is just such an average rifle. The M98B is better at range and the SVD/semi-autos are better up close.

All that work for some f  king weapon camo's?! Forget it. They could at least offer them for different weapons, rather than the same four that already have camos to start with! Then again, in all the time that I've played this game I haven't once looked at my soldier or weapon camo.
