Plagued by vivid dreams

I am plagued by these very detailed vivid dreams. I recall them (on off) for the last three years. The dreams don't bother me but I am dreaming to the extent I wake with a chronic fatigue that affects me the next day. I've searched for possible causes but can't find anything that correlates with my lifestyle or anything else. It's crossed my mind am I being poisoned or is it a phychosis? I've eliminated alcohol and drugs (teetotal no change) and my BMI is close to 25 so I think sleep apnea is ruled out, however the dreams persist and are remarkably consistent. I do a moderate amount of cardio throughout the week on my good days. The only other thing is there was some mold on a damp wall but that's been clean and dry for weeks now and there's no visual regrowth or new signs of mold.
