A Griff hits the track

There's just a week to go until the TVRcarparts Monster Trackday and Show.

It's morphed into quite an event, all aspects of TVR ownership covered, from purchase to upgrade, maintain to modify, and track to race.

What's happening

Works drivers and champions will be in attendance, challenge teams and sprinters -- as well as a few cars for you to lust after. They include Michael Caine - Castle TVR, Steve Guglielmi - Motorsport, Team TMS and the RT Racing Thorpedo plus Topcats Racing (testing permitting) for hot laps too.

Vendors

ACT/Mark Adams/Austec, who together have become a major force in TVR induction and upgrades, will be launching their new Cerbera upgrade package. This includes completely reworked heads, carbon fibre trumpets and reworked airbox, ECU and fuelling. An option is a completely new big bore exhaust system, including equal length headers and racing cats. It sounds amazing.

TVR Power will have several cars there too including the new Taraka II Chimaera, while V8 Developments can show you what can be done with your engine...on the inside.

But its not just about engines. Newlun Designs is bringing heavily modified cars including the wild purple Chimaera and the wide-body T350. There's an example Tuscan too, with £15,000 of equipment inside -- including TV, DVD and PlayStation.

On-track action

If you prefer to drive, you can get on track with the friendliest and fastest TVR nuts in the country. With beginners and novice master-classes from Michael Caine to intermediate and full Pro demo sessions, there's fun for everyone.
