There’s something about creating a replica of a supercar that costs almost as much as the real thing that you can’t help but love it. Take this Aston Martin Vanquish based on a Ford Mustang – it would cost you the wrong side of $100,000 if you wanted to buy it.
The car has been around for a while but was recently fitted with some tasteful additions, such as bonnet-mounted machine guns and a rocket launcher in the grille. It is of course a replica of the ‘Die Another Day’ Bond car and apparently all the weapons retract and deploy at the touch of a button.
The car is being distributed by Hillbank Motorsports and they will make you one if you always wanted to fulfil those Bond fantasies. It was built by Canada-based Exclusive Motor Cars, and the conversion included stretching the wheelbase, widening the track, fitting 34 custom body panels and throwing in a bespoke interior.
