With no M version of the latest Z4 on the cards, those wanting more poke than in the recently launched
BMW Z4 sDrive35is
can now turn to tuner Hamann.
The German company is now offering a range of tweaks that take a Z4 sDrive35i to 355bhp and 398lb ft of torque - that's a reasonably healthy 25bhp and 66lb ft of torque more than the sDrive 35is.
Hamann does this with nothing more complicated than a new exhaust system and a thorough re-working of the ECU. The speed limtier is also removed, allowing owners to wind the Hamann Z4 up to 177mph.
The Hamann Z4 also benefits (suffers?) from a 'unique' aero package, including a new lip spoiler, side skirts, a chunky boot spoiler and suspension dropped by 30mm. The car can also be specified with 20-inch matt black forged alloys. Subtle.
The changes inside are less, er, dramatic, with a new gearstick and some bespoke floormats.
