BMW will take the virtual wraps off its new M6 in February, before giving its new super-coupe a proper in-the-metal unveiling at the Geneva motor show in early March, according to a post on

New M6: like this, but with M badge, big V8
There's no official detail yet on the new cars, but it's a pretty safe bet that both the coupe and convertible M6 will get the same 560hp, 501lb ft twin-turbo V8 as the F10 M5, along with its 7-speed twin-clutch transmission.
The really big question, of course, is whether the M6 will get as lukewarm a reception as the BMW M5. We'll only be able to tell you that when we get to drive it, of course...
