Join us on an extended tour enjoying France's greatest roads as we head for the Principality of Monaco on the Cote d’Azur.
Passing through the centre of France, straight through Champagne country, Burgundy and along the Rhone valley, this trip encompasses some of the best mountain passes in France.
Travelling over Mont Ventoux, through Les Gorges de Verdon and down the infamous Col de Vence, you emerge just above Nice – capital of the Cote d'Azur. We then punch down into Monaco with its World famous Casino and F1 track that you can retrace at your leisure.
To ensure you get the best out of Monaco, we will be residing in a 5* hotel located in the centre of Monte Carlo, only a few steps away from the Casino and the Café de Paris.
With the benefit of a rest day in Monaco, take time out to visit the wonderful shops, the harbour bristling with some of the most expensive yachts on Earth and the Rock - home to the residence of the Monaco Royal family.
Alternatively, join us for an afternoon of driving amongst the mountains including the infamous Col de Turini – location of past stages of the Monte Carlo Rally.
Heading from Monaco, we retrace some of the mountain passes in the Alpes Maritimes made famous by the Monte-Carlo rally, before punching up to the west of Switzerland for our return to the UK. 7 days of unforgettable driving!
