GOTG 2007 will take place over the weekend of 13, 14 & 15 July 2007. But did you know that TVR is also 60 years old in 2007, making our event an extra special birthday party.
Friday: 'Small Cheesey Gathering' Crew are holding an evening do from 8pm at the Riverside Inn in Cheddar. There will be some (free) acoustic live music outdoors at about 9pm with a pay as you go BBQ. Should it rain, they also have their conservatory reserved, and the rest of the bar!!!
Saturday: This is where the fun begins. The daytime Saturday event is going to be great. We are holding a full day event which includes a 1/2 day guided drive around Somerset, taking in the fab Cheddar Gorge for one of our famous 'rumbles'. The other half day of the day will be spent on a small closed circuit at Haynes Motor Museum where you will be able to test the handling of your Tiv and have a bit of fun.
Sunday: Today is the major event day with access to the cathedral green - the cost for this is £10 per car (£5 per car if you attend the Saturday evening 'do'). Attractions include:
* 60 cars for 60 years cherished line up
* 'Tiv Triv' - a car knowledge quiz
* 'Wells Wander' - take in the sights on foot with our recommended treasure hunt/wander around Wells
* TVR parking on the green, Bishops Palace and market place
