275 GTB 6 Carb - 1965 - FIA papers (1965)

This 275 GTB was delivered new to South Africa in1965 with a short nose, steel body and 6 carburettors. During its early life the car took part in many events and races in South Africa and was always a well known vehicle within the owners club of South Africa being owned by some prominent members. The car received the highly desirable upgrade of a "long nose" in circa 1966, this being fitted by the Ferrari main dealer of South Africa. This 275 returned to Europe in the late 1980's since when it has remained in the UK and has passed through the hands of 3 subsequent owners. The car was totally restored by DK Engineering at no expense spared just 5 years ago - the car is presented in its original colour combination. Major work has been carried out to improve the performance of the car including engine, suspension and brake upgrades making it ideal for rallies and tours yet still being perfectly tame, unspoilt and enjoyable for road use. A current set of FIA papers and a wealth of spares accompany the car.
