Alfa Romeo 156 GTA Sportswagon

Great example of a rare Alfa Romeo 156 Sportwagon 3.2 GTA 5dr. Two keys, Non smoker/No pets. Much regretted sale. Looks fantastic and drives better. If you're reading this add you'll know what you're looking at and how rare this is. Less than 100 registered in the UK.

9 months MOT with no advisories. Mechanically wonderful (air-con, heated seats etc. all work). Has never missed a beat. Full service history and all receipts of work carried out. Cam belts changed every 30k as advised. Next MOT due on 02/05/2016.

I've replaced the stereo with a DAB but still have the original. The rest of the car is as it came out of the factor. All tyres and brakes are in good condition, two keys and non-smoking.

In Sept 2003 collision damage to N/S wing required Certificate of Inspection to Pass the repairs and remove it from the HPI Cat D Register and CUE (Claims Underwriting Exchange that the insurance companies use). The damage was not significant enough to write the car off when it was nearly new so the assumption of the insurers (all records have now been archived) is that there were significant legal costs that were greater than the value of the car and repairs. It is now on the HPI Condition Inspected Register proving standard of repairs. I have full documentation of repairs carried out to an acceptable standard proving it fully repaired and road worthy and HPI documentation showing it's removal from the Cat D Register.

Priced appropriately for condition and history: typical alfa red paint condition; some pebble chips; wear on the drivers seat bolster; very occasionally the drivers side airbag light comes on (I've had this checked and the airbag does work when the lights on).

The car is in St Albans and I'm open to offers but not in a rush to sell my favorite car I've ever owned.
