1999 Audi

Owned by an Audi SRS enthusiast and forum member for 8 years. The time has come to sell my beloved B5 S4 which comes in very rare and desirable pelican blue, full unmarked ivory Recarro interior with carbon trim option. Full documented service history, main dealer till 90k Audi specialist since. I have receipts for over £12'0000 spent on preventative maintenance and upgrades in the last 100'000 miles. Fresh MOT, no advisories.

The car is mechanically perfect. Recent new belts, turbos, entire suspension, driveshafts Cvs, engine mounts, entire brakes, ABS pump, clutch, make it a better prospect than a car that's covered half the mileage but has some of the larger bills looming. 5 x transmission & diff oil changes and 15 x fully synthetic engine oil changes have resulted in a car with a very quite smooth drive train and zero mechanical breakdowns in my ownership.

The car drives significantly better than it did when it left the factory. Modification mostly done by renowned specialist MRC include RS4 355mm brakes with fresh disks and EBC yellow stuff pads, fully adjustable uprated HR anti roll bars with chassis strengthening brackets, uprated Eibach springs/dampers, remapped engine and 18" RS4 8j replica wheels, fresh 225/40 high performance tyres have resulted in a car that goes stops corners a lot better than standard. Negative stuff, The car was recorded as Cat D (the lightest damage) 2 years before I acquired her, repairs were excellent as there is no visual evidence and geometry is perfect and tires always wear evenly. There is the odd mark on the body but the exterior condition is very good for a car of its age. I regularly get questioned about the cars real age because she doesn't look T reg. There is some wear on the drivers seat bolster and there are several pixels out on the Dashboard Central LCD, I have a new LCD to replace but not fitted yet.

All in all this is a fantastic opportunity to buy a striking example of a very rare car which will only go up in value. Where else will you find a timeless styled 170mph car with Quattro all weather traction, that is quiet, reliable, averages over 24 mpg, will out pace a Golf GTI without even exceeding 3500rpm, and better any of the latest generation of super hot hatches if you venture to track. The plan was always to keep the car for my children, but a new company car, plus a new highly modified S4 mean she won't get driven as cars like this must be, and as much as it pains me to say good say goodbye I can't leave her sit unused.
