2007 BMW

Well, it's been a journey, my first Alpina and a car I've owned so much longer than intended. Reason being, I have been seduced by the Alpina magic. This is one very fine car with such a depth of ability. An all round package that is so tough to beat.

The spec: Alpina D3 Touring (No.141) in silver with anthracite decals, Classic Alpina 19" rims, factory tint privacy glass, Alpina mats.

The car has been in my ownership since 2011 at 40k miles, now on 106k miles with a full BMW service history (except one by a well trusted independant garage).

The car has had new front struts and new front brake discs and pads (approx 10k miles ago), wheels in great condition and a recent new rear caliper and pads (both sides).

The car has been well looked after with Bilt Hamber autowash, clay bar and wax treatments and Autoglym leather conditioner.

3 owners; 2 keys; Alpina wallet; all MOTs; all invoices.

Regularly returns 44mpg with mixed driving and will keep many high performance cars honest especially in the twisties. This is what I will really miss about this car, the limoesque cruising ability coupled with the quite brilliant Alpina handling magic.

Alpina is a racing team from the 1960's and setting up a car is what they know in intimate detail. I've heard of owners moving to higher performance BMW's such as the 335 and in their honest opinion the D3 out handled them.
