1973 BMW

The car offered here, chassis 2285458, is one of the 500 RHD cars and was delivered on 9th March 1973 to a Mr. Terence Cox, latterly of Barnstaple, Devon. He is the only registered owner and maintained the car regardless of expense through his own garages, believed to be the first MOT Centre in Gloucestershire. Mr. Cox passed away in 2013 but not before the car was treated to a full bare metal re-spray and significant expenditure all on file to make sure the car remained in the condition that he had always enjoyed. On file is a letter from Mrs. Cox confirming that this car was her late husband’s ‘pride and joy’ and that she remembers many happy outings in the CSL. An opportunity to acquire what must surely be the only one owner from new 3.0CSL in the UK with a recent cosmetic and mechanical overhaul.
