Perhaps the most iconic of all BMWs, the E30 M3 has been growing massively in popularity over recent years, with great examples like this coming available with increasing scarcity. With the S14 4-cylinder powerplant kicking out 215 bhp, the E30 M3 built on the earlier M10 engine to maximise low-rev torque. The dog-leg pattern ‘box and left-hand drive layout - potentially off-putting at first to the uninitiated - become second nature almost immediately, and the steering lives up to its light and razor sharp reputation. Great cornering, interior ride comfort and body control all come as standard, increased by great visibility thanks to those iconic slim pillars.
