Mechanical / Service history information
In the last 2 years the car has undergone quite a bit of mechanical work starting with a full engine service, throttle bodies cleaned and new spark plugs at the end of 2013. Further work carried out at the end on 2013 consisted of a diff rebuild with new gaskets and diff oil. A new throttle cable was fitted along with the prop shaft guibo and front differential bushing.
Track rods ends and 4 wheels tracking were carried out in April last year along with an exhaust repair and new battery. The suspension also benefited from a refurb with new front shocks, spring pads on the top and bottom along with eibach springs fitted.
The front and rear brake discs have also been replaced along with new pads and in September of last year the car also had a new fuel pump fitted along with a power steering fluid top up.
As you can tell the car has had no expense spared lately!
Along with the receipts mentioned in the above section the car also comes with a service history booklet benefiting from 16 services.

Options
The car also benefited from some options when it was spec’d new from the factory. These include sports leather steering wheel, alarm system, rear spoiler, sunroof, armrest, rear headrests, parking sensors on rear, aircon, cruise control, on board computer and HIFI speaker system.
Wheels & Tyres
The 5x sunflower 17” rims were refurbished and repainted on 3/3/14 and look stunning. They are wrapped in Michelin Pilot tyres with almost new thread depth on the fronts and the rears are about 50% worn and show approx 5mm thread. The rims themselves are unblemished, rust and corrosion free including the spare sunflower alloy.
Bodywork
As you can tell from the pictures the estoril blue looks fantastic in the sunlight and panel gaps remain straight and even around the car. There are a couple of minor car park dings but nothing serious or beyond the remit of a good dent removal company.
One point of note would be the appearance of a couple of patches of rust on the tailgate where the spoiler meets the bootlid. One of the rear arches has also started to bubble with corrosion a little.
Interior
The car was specified new with the grey leather option which compliments the estoril blue paintwork. The wooded dash panel inserts also contrast the dash and leather seat colour. The car was also supplied with a central front seat arm rest.
The stereo has been upgraded to a modern CD player with the added benefit of a mobile phone Bluetooth connection. All the interior electrics such as windows and sunroof work perfectly and the onboard computer shows no faults.
The leather seats themselves could do with some refurbishment, especially the drivers seat bolster which shows the most wear, along with a hole in the carpet in the drivers footwell beside the clutch pedal / foot rest.
The car was originally imported to Dublin from Syntners in England in 2005 and a VRT payment was made to import it to the country. If registering it again in the UK or Northern Ireland, you simply need to apply for an MOT using the chassis number. Once it has passed the MOT you can send the Irish V5 log book off with the test certificate and you apply for the UK V5 and tax the vehicle. There are no import charges and you can also revert the car back onto its original 1996 number plate from when it left the UK.
The UK HPI report and the Irish version of the HPI report are also present and both show the car as completely HPI clear.
