1 much loved E36 M3 Evolution,

This is the car that I have wanted as long as I remember, being at school when these were released I littered countless jotters with sketches of M3's over the years and for me this is a timeless design, fast becoming an appreciating classic.

Having been fortunate enough to have finally owned one the time has now come to part company with the car so I can free up the funds for another BMW, but this time a project.

This M3 is a fantastic exampling in remarkable condition and of course, in the iconic colour - Estoril blue, with Vader leather.

At present black 17" CSL replica wheels are fitted, but the original 'Contour' wheels can be offered with the car - these have been recently re-furbished and are of course in A1 condition. the tyres are brand new Michelin Pilot Sport Plus.

The car has recently passed and MOT with no issues, and comes with road tax until March 2013.

The car has been kept garaged and was rarely used by the previous owner (who is a close friend of mine)

It has been fitted with an aftermarket high spec JVC head unit and Alpine 6 disc multi-changer, however, I do have an original BMW Business unit that can be fitted if the buyer wishes.

the interior was originally Silver sports leather, but the seats have been replaced with the more sought after 'Vader' Seats, however, I do also have the standard seats that can be either fitted to the car before sale or sold with the car by separate negotiation.

Having owned various M cars I can safely say that this car, even though one of the oldest I have had, is one of the tightest driving, there is a real sense of event when you drive the Evo, and the fruity 6 cylinder still provides a smooth power delivery and packs a punch to match! It is also worth noting that the VANOS unit is in A1 condition and does not suffer from any rattles, noises or power losses.

the brake pads and discs are nearly new having only been replaced just over 2000 miles ago.

Being the 4 door model it truly is a practical performance car with the handling and BMW M division build quality to match!.

Any inspection is welcome as are test drives with the appropriate insurance in place.

as with all older cars, this car is not without its faults, and to be 100% transparent, here are the 'bad points' of the M3,

The front shocks will need replacing as they have started to lose their dampening, but replacements are readily available at a low cost,

The rear quarter to rear panel join has a very slight rust bubble (smaller than a 5p)

The front of the car has some stone chipping as you would expect for a car of this age and mileage.

the front drivers seat leather is showing slight signs of wear - shown in the pictures, but the bolster is in solid condition and has not lost any of its padding.

(if any of these small 'bad points' were a deal breaker, I will have them sorted prior to the sale)

In short, this car will not disappoint, but please, don't take my word for it, come and see for yourself.

This may not be the cheapest M3 on the market, but it is certainly in fantastic condition throughout.
