Description

It is with some regret that I've to move this car on. Absolutely awesome kit, but times are changing and money needs to be raised for other projects.
This is no show car but i'm proud of the way it cleans up as a part time detailer, it is almost 20 years old after all ~ small rust patch in near side rear arch, paint imperfections to off side driver's door and rear arch. Oil temp gauge not working (as 328i didn't originally have a sensor) and check coolant (although full) on OBC showing. Headlining starting to sag and peel from windscreen slightly.
This is NOT some half-baked bodge up with a few nice bits thrown at it. It is a FULL conversion; '95 328i Touring with a '94 S50B30 installed. ALL necessary parts and details from the M3 saloon fitted over the course of 6 months. The chap who carried the conversion out completely stripped the donor shell of every bit of metal and plastic before respraying the car as a bare shell, rebuilding entirely with new parts from BMW.
Gearbox (w Z3M short shift and re-bush) // Clutch // Re-built Diff // Driveshafts // Prop // Wishbones // Trailing Arms // Chassis brace (from convertible) // Brakes (front and rear) // Exhaust. All parts were stripped and renewed in 2010 or later. Full M3 bodykit resprayed in Arctic Silver with Black Nappa Vader seats. 18 button OBC with dials // door sills // steering wheel // illuminated gear knob // Sony face off MP3 head unit.
129k on chassis / 103k on engine. New clutch / vanos bolt & filter / plugs / oils / aircon re gas / front disks & pads. Recently installed HSD Monopro coilovers w/camber plates all laser aligned recently. Goodyear F1's with good tread fitted to Genuine Sunflowers - 17 x 7.5 all round.
There are a huge amount of receipts for conversion parts and regular servicing but owing to the nature of the conversion there is no complete service book as such. I have put around 7k on the car in my ownership and used the car daily for the last 4/5 months. Averaging 29 mpg in all conditions the conversion just works with tractable power and a benign chassis; it's very easy to manage both around town and when pressing on.
Ultimately the car is quite low, there are one or two scuffs to the leading edge of the under tray (due to sleeping policemen!) but aside from that there are no leaks or outstanding issues. The coilovers are a well known mid range option that damp very nicely but provide excellent road holding, very popular amongst the E36 community for this reason.
In terms of offers I would strongly suggest that you come and see the car. Considering there are one or two bits that need a small amount of attention I would be open to reasonable negotiation.
