The car has only covered 46300 miles.
I am the sixth owner and purchased the car in July 2012 at 41000 miles.
The build date of 26/Nov/2003 makes the car one of the later cars built as production ceased at the end of the 2003, number 361 out of 422 UK cars, it was first registered on 03/Apr/04.
According to www.howmanyleft.com there are now only 285 CSL’s left out of the 422 UK assigned cars, due to write offs and exports.
The BMW M3 CSL was recently named by EVO magazine as one of the top three future investment modern classics alongside the Porsche GT3 RS and Lamborghini Diablo SV!!

Service History:
The car has a complete BMW main dealer service history comprising of:

All of the servicing has been done within the 2 year BMW recommended interval rather than purely on mileage.
The next service, which is an inspection 1, is due in approximately 10000 miles or 18 months.
Other Maintenance/ Warranty work:
During the last service at Elms BMW it was noted that the following items needed attention:
Auxiliary belt,
Rear springs,
Induction flap motor,
Diff input seal
These were all addressed by Elms BMW in Aug/13.
The clutch , both the friction and pressure plates, have been replaced under warranty in Aug/13 as it was found that the pressure plate springs had grown weak with age.
Under the previous owner the alternator, battery and gear change micro switches were replaced.
The front and rear callipers have just been overhauled by BiggRed in Worcester, including new seals, pistons, bleed nipples and are finished in black enamel. The brake fluid has just been replaced with Motul RBF600. The callipers are running the correct OE textar pads and only have a couple of thousand miles on them. The discs were replaced at approximately the same time and show no sign of a lip.
The front and rear antiroll bars benefit from having Powerflex bushes fitted and the rear trailing arm bushes have been replaced with OEM parts. (Early 2013)
The sub frame / boot floor area was inspected by Elms BMW when it was serviced and found to be crack free, it has since been resin injected by Elms as a precaution to ensure it doesn’t suffer from stress fractures at a later date. (Aug/13)
Since owning the car I have changed the oil and filter between services using only Castrol Edge 10w60 and a genuine BMW oil filter so the car has not done more than 2/3 thousand miles on the same oil.

Tax:
The road tax currently expires on 31/Mar/14 but the car will be supplied with 6 months.
Interior:
The back of the front seats have a few minor marks on them and the alcantara on the steering wheel is lightly bobbled but neither detract from the interior.
All of the carbon fibre trim is unmarked.
I have fitted a pair of aluminium gear selector paddles which are longer than the originals. The originals paddles are also included.
The original CSL plaque is still in place.
I have fitted a BMW auxiliary interface to the back of the storage tray in the centre console so any MP3 player can be played through the aux channel on the standard car stereo.
The rear centre console has a few marks on it from the seatbelts but nothing major.
The boot contains the correct tyre inflator, locking wheel key, first aid kit and warning triangle.
The car is complete with its alcantara folder containing the handbooks, service record etc and both keys.
All of the glass is original, still with the correct warning stickers on the windscreen.
Exterior:
The body work is in very good condition, but it is almost 10 years old so there are a few stone chips on the front of the car, but there no dents or car parking dings, the body work is arrow straight.
The carbon fibre roof is unmarked and the whole body benefits from several coats of Zymol wax. The front splitters are copy parts but fit well and the originals, now refinished after water got under the lacquer, are included in the sale.
The car is currently fitted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres with 4-5mm front and 3-4mm rear.
The wheels have a couple of minor scuffs in places and there is some minor staining on the front wheels.
The CSL is my second car and as such spends most of its time under a cover in the garage hooked up to a battery optimizer.
I believe both the front and rear bumpers have been repainted at some time but this is usual due to their tendency to pick up stone chips.
Other:
The car is currently under BMW zero excess extended warranty which can be transferred to the next owner. The warranty provided by BMW under this policy is far more comprehensive than any non BMW dealer sourced warranty so you can buy this car with the peace of mind that everything that has been required has been done by a BMW main dealer and any future issues will also be covered by BMW main dealers for the life of the warranty policy.
Also included is the extremely rare original BMW CSL press pack with detailed technical specification with a number of colour photographs as well as the original sales brochure and BMW CSL specification pamphlet.
I am in no hurry to sell the car.
