I put a deposit down on this amazing car in June 2016 but by the time I picked it up in July, my employment circumstances had changed. As I didn't want to lose my large deposit and/or mess the seller around and had the money to proceed, I bought the car anyway but knew it was going to be a short-lived 'affair'. The previous owner had it for five years and the guy before him also owned it for 5 years. It has had 6 previous keepers but two of these were motor traders (BMW Wheatley Hall & Alexander Prestige) - registered keeper information now obtained from DVLA and retained on history file.

The car has xenons, rear parking sensors, air-con and radio / CD player.

Unusually, the car has a superb FULL BMW main dealer service history and has been serviced as per the factory recommendations (i.e. oil service, Inspection 1, oil service, Inspection 2 etc). The service book is fully stamped and all invoices (circa £20k worth) are available. The current mileage is 87,618 and it is next due an Inspection 1 in July 2017.

When I bought it, the steering wheel looked a little shabby but this came up a treat when it was cleaned - does not need recovering in my opinion (see photo). It also had a few scuffs, scratches and minor imperfections on the interior which have been polished out or touched up and the interior is now very presentable (small burn on passenger side rear seat but you wouldn't notice it unless I point it out). The paint (other than the front bumper & flippers - repainted in 2011, plus a repaired scuff on the rear bumper repainted 2014) was original when I bought it and I deliberated long and hard about whether to have the bonnet, front wings and wing mirrors repainted to remove stone chips. My OCD eventually got the better of me and this work was done by an excellent body shop 24/10/16 at a cost of £1400 (could have had it done at half the price elsewhere but I'm very fussy). There are some stone chips on the lower rear quarters but I decided against getting this done as it would have necessitated doing each door to ensure a colour match and effectively re-painting most of the car which would been overkill and spoilt the originality of the car. The wheels are in great shape - all refurbished in 2014 and do not have any kerbing.

Correct Michelin Pilot Sport Cups all in good shape and have done 11k miles. New front disks & pads @ 85.5k.

With regards to the mechanicals, I'm not aware of ANY issues whatsoever other than a slight rattle from an exhaust heat-shield (might be normal) and at the last MOT the rear brake discs were noted as worn 'but not seriously weakened'

The boot floor was repaired under warranty by BMW in 2011.

Before anyone asks, the car has not had a recent compression and/or leak-down test but happy for this to be done at any local garage at buyers expense.

Although this wasn't bought as a track car, I've just returned from a 1500 mile trip to Germany which included two 'tourist' laps of the Nurburgring and one gentle 5 lap session on the GP circuit and the car performed flawlessly. Surprisingly good MPG which was an unexpected bonus.

Car will be sold with original registration number YT54 WHD.
