BMW 5 SERIES (E60/E61) M5 TOURING 2007

For sale is my E61 M5 Touring.

I have owned this car for almost three years which is the longest I have ever kept a car.  This is testament to how good it is. Obviously being the Touring version of the E60 M5 these are very rare indeed.  Only 222 UK built cars released back in 2007.  Now there are only 164 M5 Tourers left on the road.  I very rarely see a E60 M5, I have never seen another Touring M5 on the road and I doubt very much I will see one anytime soon.

In my ownership the M5 has been covered by BMW Mondial warranty, this car has been under dealer warranty from new, this means that anything that has needed to be done, has been done.

Warranty work that has been completed in the last 3 years of ownership.

- ABS controller

- Throttle actuators

- Aircon compressor 

The above are the most common problems that M5s suffer with at some point in their lifetime.  I did the research before stepping into this car so I knew that it was inevitable at some point.

Service history & maintenance.

Obviously the M5 comes with a complete BMW service history, last serviced in October 2016 and not due for another 14,000 miles.  I always service this car yearly even though I only complete 5k per annum.

Tyres currently fitted are Michelin Pilot Supersports which have 50% left all round, one of if not the best tyre possible for this car.

Recent maintenance over the past 3 years, rear discs and pads (covered 14k), front discs and pads (covered 500 miles), various bushes on the front end, and new sunroof seal.

This car has also had its alignment completed yearly to make sure everything is in check.

Clutch was replaced @ 42k.

Condition:

I treat my cars like my children, drives my wife mad.  All my cars are hand washed weekly, sometimes twice using the two bucket method to prevent hazing on the paint.

I detail this M5 every 6 months, I seal the paintwork, alloys, trim etc, this is highly rewarding as you get a nice glow from the Silverstone II paintwork, and washing it becomes a breeze as the dirt just slides off.  Engine bay is immaculate as is the whole car.

There are no dents, scuffs, or damage to the exterior of the car, only a handful of stone chips on the front end.  Alloys were refurbished in Feb 2016, I managed to catch one of the rears by accident a few months ago, but very minor and not visible unless up close.

Interior is also very good, a little wear on the start button (all of them have) but that is it.

So there you have it, an extremely well looked after M5 Touring which in my eyes will always be a special car, will never be built again, and will go on in history to be the last true naturally aspirated M car ever built.

All the buyer has to do is start the car and drive, whoever buys this car will not be disappointed, it's stunning.
