According to BMW, the only Estoril/Silver combo ever built in either RHD or LHD. Totally unique. The few Estoril Blue cars that are around came with black leather mainly, and some even rarer ones had Champagne and even Ivory/Lemon. But mine is 1 of 1.

Full main dealer history up until 2 services ago, which then were carried out by reputable BMW specialists.

I have every invoice and receipt for maintenance carried out since new, and have all books, manuals and service book present.

2 master keys, plus service key and plastic emergency key.

Always serviced with Castrol Edge 10w60. Recently has had:

-Inspection 2 (all fluids and filters)

-Genuine BOSCH Pre-Cat O2 (Oxygen) Sensors

-Spark plugs (NKG BKR6EQUP)

-New Cam Position Sensors (CPS). All 4: intake and exhaust

-Rear drop links and anti roll bar bushes

-Tyres front and rear all matching (about 8 months ago, still 7mm approx remaining on all 4)

-New steering wheel by Royal Steering Wheels (worth every penny - stunning!)

In the last 12 months the engine had the following carried out at reputable specialists:

-New timing chains and tensioners

-New rocker cover gaskets

-CCV hoses

-All vacuum hoses under plenum

Comes with the remainder of my extended warranty - 6 months still remaining. This can be extended by a further 3 years should the new owner decide. The warranty will be transferred upon completion of the sale.

Recently had wheels professionally acid dipped and powder coated. Tyres removed e.t.c. Perfectly finished in the correct shade of Shadow Chrome. New style BMW centre caps and M badges fitted.

Mechanically - perfect. The car cannot be faulted in any way. It is totally flawless. The VANOS is silent on both banks even stood at close range with the bonnet open.

No fault codes in any module.

No suspension noises or any of the usual E39 suspension niggles (groaning centre link, shimmy e.t.c.)

Needless to say it is a doddle to drive normally, but is an absolute monster when you get on the pedal.

The exhaust has the muffler delete, and I won't go into details here - a simple google search or youtube search will tell you all you need to know. It is totally 100% quiet on the motorway - no drone. And can tiptoe around town unnoticed (sound-wise!). But it releases the V8 muscle car soundtrack when opened up.

Cosmetically, it is as stunning as you'd expect. The photos don't do it justice. The wheels are flawless, the front end and windscreen are free of stone-chips, the interior looks spectacular and all the seals, trims and details are all in tip top condition.

2 negatives that I had a booking to rectify in March are:

-Small paint bubble on the drivers rear wing - requires wing painting to make perfect.

-Slight lacquer peel on the leading edge of the sills (no mud flaps so gets stone chipped...)

I am an active member on M5Board.com and have owned more E39 M5's, and other exotic BMWs than I can remember. This M5 has been the most special yet so needless to say it has been pampered like a member of the family.
