2006 Caterham

Following my recently rekindled love of motorcycling I am reluctantly selling this beautiful car as I cannot use both motorbike and Caterham at the same time!

Caterham CSR 260, Cosworth Duratec 2.3, 260 bhp, Dry Sump, 6 speed, SV body (so slightly wider). 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds!!!

19,329 miles, Full service history, Taxed to end August 2014, MOT to end July 2014. Many extras worth over £2,000.

When I bought the car in March 2010 via Millwood motors it had 8,710 miles on the clock and had just been serviced. It has had two previous owners and was immaculately maintained. The last owner before me was apparently an elderly gentleman who had never taken the engine over 5,000 rpm and used to wash the underneath of the car in his pit.

I have had the car expertly serviced every year by Rob Singleton of Boss Racing. Rob used to work for Caterham and is a pleasure to deal with. He even collects and delivers the car.

The c. 11,000 miles I have done in 4 years have been a delight. I have toured to the Alps and through Wales. I have blatted around Berks, Bucks, Surrey and Kent, but to my eternal shame, I have only taken it on the track twice (an evening at Brands Indy Circuit and a day at Mallory Park). Although it is a supreme and exhilarating track tool, I have used it primarily for a 60 mile commute consisting of 50% free-flowing M4 and 50% country back roads. The acceleration is visceral and I know I am going to miss it. Please buy it now before I change my mind…..
