2004 Caterham

For sale is a stunning Caterham R500 Superlight which was factory built in 2004. The car was originally supplied as a 1600 Roadsport A race car and was converted to R500 specification in November 2006. The logbook shows 3 previous owners and was originally supplied in Reflex Blue before being painted metallic orange.

The work to convert the car was carried out by Minister Power and includes steel rods, a steel crank and Cosworth pistons. The bill from Minister (included) was for nearly £12k and includes the power graph.

The sale will also include the private number plate R500 TPH and a folder of receipts for all previous work. The last service was carried out by Caterham in June 2014 and the car has barely covered any miles since.

This R500, though not original, is in excellent condition and drives like a new car having covered only 7800 miles in total. The engine has covered less since the Minister conversion was 2 years after build.
