The Citroen DS model was introduced in 1955 and was built in various configurations until 1975. Very technically advanced, it was the first mass produced car with disc brakes. The car also had hydropneumatic independent suspension and a self levelling system. Our DS, a 1971 D Super finished in white with original red cloth trim, is a one owner vehicle from new with just 48,000km (less than 29,000 miles) travelled. It is fitted with the desirable 5 speed manual transmission and has power assisted steering. The car has had a time in storage due to the owner, Mme Regine, getting on in years and has been recommissioned and restored to the standard seen here.
