Citroen SM
First shown at the 1970 Geneva Motor show and first deliveries the same year. Citroens answer to a Grand Tourer. With all the tried and tested incorporated futuristic techniques, the Citroen was so far ahead of its time, adjustable Hydropneumatic suspension, front wheel drive, power steering, self positioning steering, automatic brake pressure distributor, self leveling headlights and so much more.
The Citroen SM was produced from 1971 to 1975 when it ceased production Citroen was sold to Peugeot; some 12,920 Citroen SM’s were produced.
This 1971 Citroen SM was an early car with 3 Weber Carburetors (42DCNF) and the 2.6 V6 Maserati engine and manual five-speed gearbox.
All matching numbers car, supplied by Ets Carlos Bloch to Mr Andie, in Montoiue in the South of France, the car now has 98,999 kms on the speedometer and first registered January 1971, making this car just over 1000 car built.
Very original motorcar with every thing working, even the glove box light. Straight and sound, drive just how I remembered them too.
