1985 Daimler

We are delighted to offer this lovely example of the Series 3 Daimler Double-Six saloon with only 3 former keepers.The car was supplied by The Hares Group Sussex and has been maintained by them. These 12-cylinder saloons were a revelation in their day, and are still a surprise today with their level of silence, refinement, performance and handling. At the time there was nothing to beat them unless you were prepared to spend several times the asking price. It is therefore no surprise that these cars are now appreciating in value, and that scarce, low mileage, well cared for examples such as this one are becoming sought after. Finished in opalescent red with oatmeal leather, this car has covered its low mileage in the hands of sympathetic owners, and drives accordingly. The hand books and main dealer service records are all present and correct. New whitewall tyres and a new battery were fitted last year. This car has the added attraction of having been one of a limited number of Jaguars invited by Jaguar Cars to take part in their 75th anniversary celebration at the Coventry factory and at Goodwood.
