EXTERIOR

Finished in a gleaming coat of Rosso Scuderia this Challenge Stradale remains in near perfect condition and exudes its Pininfarina lines beautifully under the studio lights. The subtle clear plastic protection strips still sit in the correct locations around the car doing its best to keep the lustrous red paintwork in top condition, failing only to a light peppering of stone chips dusting the front and side sills of its factory coat of paint. All of the rubber seals remain fresh, soft and tear free indicating the car has led a pampered and well cared for life.

INTERIOR

The interior true to its lightweight form is basic with no carpets, exposing its ridged aluminium space frame chassis and bare riveted floor pans. Slide into the carbon fibre Alcantara clad race seats and every inch of the car points to its lightweight heritage. Carbon fibre adorns the door cards and in the centre, houses the switch gear for the cars traction control, ASR and launch control systems while proudly displaying its Challenge Stradale badge and collaboration flags. Red stitching lines the full leather steering wheel and runs around the Alcantara clad dashboard. The majority of the interior is dark with red stitching and red prancing horses sitting high on the seat head rest, a good combination with the exterior red paintwork. All of the switch gear works as it should and the interior mark and tear free. The instrument cluster displays its yellow rev counter proudly in the middle, the speedo to the left with the backing converted to MPH.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

The engine fires into life with a menacing bark and settles into a more social high idle as the exhaust valves regulate the noise and the engine warms to temperature. The car has been looked after solely by Ferrari main dealers and has had no less than the 3 cambelt changes in its life, the last one and service at 23,171KM in December 2013 where clutch wear was also measured at only 15%. The engine pulls as it should with the exhaust valves opening at higher revs to what must be one of the best sounding engine notes. The gear changes quick at 150 milliseconds with a satisfying blip during the downshift.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

The carbon ceramic discs are in excellent condition with 85% remaining as per its last service. The 19 inch BBS wheels remain mark and curb free and are wrapped in the correct Pirelli Corsa system designed for the car, running directional tyres on the front and the asymmetric design for the rear, the fronts with a large amount of tread remaining, the rears slightly lower.

HISTORY FILE

This Challenge Stradale was supplied new in Germany on the 06/08/2004 and has had a total of 4 owners In Germany. The leather owners pack and owners manuals are with the car along with two sets of keys and 3x alarm fobs. Service history has been solely carried out by the main dealers in Germany at the following intervals:
