Description

Sadly the time has come to sell sparky the panda.
We've had him since October 2007 and he's never ever let us down.
Cocktail blue with a smart blue interior he hast the unburstable 1.2 dynamic engine and the mid range spec that gives you switchable power steering (with light city option), abs, elec front windows and a decent stereo system.
Originally pre-registered by the Inverness Fiat dealer in October 2006 it was later bought by my dad who put a huge 2000 miles on the clock before moving to france and selling him to my wife and i in 2007.
I then used the car as a more practical alternative to my vx220 on my 80 miles commute. Then in 2009 my wife passed her test and took ownership of the wee fella for her inner city commute As as result the mileage looks a bit schizophrenic but it can all be backed up by MOTs and service receipts
Comes with 6 months tax (applied for the disc tonight), MOT until 27th Sept and a full service history. Despite the low annual mileage in latter years i've always insisted he gets a full oil service and all receipts can be provided.
11/10/07 - 2001 miles, Donald McKenzie FIAT Inverness
03/09/08 - 14,196 miles, Arnold Clark FIAT Dunfermline
17/07/09 - 27,079 miles, Arnold Clark FIAT Glasgow
10/06/10 - 31,859 miles, Cairnlea Garage, Glasgow
19/09/11 - 36,672 miles, Cairnlea Garage, Glasgow
26/09/11 - 40,251 miles, Cairnlea Garage, Glasgow
17/09/12 - 43,092 miles, Cairnlea Garage, Glasgow
Current mileage is just about to trip over to 45k.
He does have a dent (see pics) in the drivers side wheel arch where he was viscously attacked by a car park pillar. We've been quoted around £100 to get it fixed but have left it as we feel it gives him attitude. Doesn't affect the way the car drives and has passed an MOT with it.
If you check sites like honest john you will see that these are pretty robust wee cars with only two main issues - the electric power steering motor and the electric boot release. We've suffered from both. The elec power steering motor is a common fault on puntos and pandas and can cost up to £900 from a main dealer. The good news is that Cairlea carried out this work for us in March at a cost of £500.
The boot release is an easy fix but we've never had it done as my wife is so used to opening the boot on the key now that it doesn't bother her.
Other than that the only faults with the car are a few car park dings, some flaking paint on the wiper arm and front plastic wheel trims that look like the car has spent the last 6 years being driven round the city centre. Funny that. All four tyres are the same brand and have good tread on them. New battery was fitted in sept last year and the car has never failed to start.
New car arrives on the 29th June and sparky will be traded if we don't find a buyer on here.
