2008 Fiat

My wife has owned this very rare and stunning GP Abarth Essesse in 1949 white from new and loved every minute of it. Unfortunately with the children getting older it’s time for a bigger 5 door car to ferry them and their friends about. It will be a very sad day to see this car leave our care.

The car has wanted for nothing and is in great condition. We had the official Abarth Esseesse and Assetto kits fitted within the first year which significantly improved the feel of it on the road and gave it a fair amount more shove. We also have the official Certificate of Elaboration issued by Abarth when the kits were fitted, all keys and radio code.

SERVICING:

It has been serviced by the Abarth dealership Autoworld until late last year when we’ve used a local specialist.

9 service stamps with oil changed every 6k. Major service with water pump, timing and auxiliary belts all changed October last year, so no major service bills for years. Front dampers were replaced in June this year.

MOT & Tax:

Just MOT’d ahead of schedule to give 13 months (end Sept 2015), no advisories.

EXTERIOR:

Exterior extras we went for at purchase were the red wing mirrors and side stripes (these are not aftermarket Ebay specials).

A few stone chips on the wing mirrors and on the front as you’d expect but other than that is in excellent condition. Had a fog light replaced last year by the dealer as it picked up a crack during its pre-service test drive.

New car has arrived so this is stored under cover in my garage as not being used.

INTERIOR:

We chose the faux alcantara interior as it’s much nicer and wears much better than the thin leather. No slipping and sliding around and warmer too. We got the optional extra dual zone climate control and the official Abarth mats.
