A unique opportunity to acquire one of the original 6 press cars sent by Ford to California for the launch of the FRP. This car is very well known in the Racing Puma world. Current owner for the last 8 years currently SORN'd. Full history of the car has been maintained over the years and will be supplied with it.

V4FRP will be sold with 12 month MOT, fully serviced and with cambelt changed.V4FRP has been owned for 8 years during which it has only covered 15,000 miles and been garaged for the majority of that time. There have been 4 previous owners including the Ford Motor Company. This is a rare opportunity to purchase one of the original 6 Ford press cars sent to California for the launch of this Boreham developed version of the Puma. The original first six pre-production cars were registered by Ford with the sequential registration numbers V1FRP to V6FRP and had the manifold numbers FMC01 to FMC06. V4FRP retains its number plate and its original manifold number. The vehicle is in excellent condition and has been regularly serviced. A well documented history package is available.

The “press cars” are the only FRP’s to be originally fitted with spare wheel retainers in the boot area. The car also has a fully colour coded engine bay and has the original 10mm wider rear wheel spacers. The car features all the normal FRP modifications and is original in all aspects with only the cosmetic additions of alcantara handbrake and gear lever gaiters and stainless steel sill plates.

All the concerns of FRP ownership have been attended to and the car is in first class condition.
